Nothing ruins a good trip like getting sick - and we're not talking about a few extra bathroom stops. Contaminated drinking water is one of the leading sources of health problems for travelers, and can cause anything from mild gastrointestinal distress to serious bacterial diseases. The Miracle Straw™ offers you the suitable product for any need, regardless of whether you are traveling, hiking, camping, or working with humanitarian or disaster relief.

Normal Operation

1) *With first time use, unscrew the white pre-filter and place a purification tablet inside. Then return the white pre-filter to the base of the unit.

2) Place straw (white pre-filter end) into untreated water source. Pull on the top grip to draw water into the straw until it stops.

3) Shake off excess water from the straw and place the straw mouthpiece onto the top of the 8 oz. cup (included) or your bottle/canteen.

4) Slowly push down on the fully extended straw to move the water through the filter. See diagram

5) Use the manual counter rings to track each time you fill up the 8 oz. cup. The Miracle Straw will process up to 50 gallons (400 half-liter bottles) of water. High levels of turbidity will reduce the life of the replacement filters.

6) Store unit in the carry bag when not in use.

Note: *Replace the purification tablet in the white pre-filter after 50 gallons (400 half-liter bottles).
